Well I had almost forgotten about this little annoyance until this past weekend when I was finally able to re-build my crashed main computer. Do you remember the first time that you either booted up Windows XP on a store bought computer or after an install of XP that annoying little language bar peeking out on the right side of your task bar by the system tray? Well you could turn it off but every time you rebooted there it was again. Well here is a quick and easy way to get rid of it for good. - Click the Start Button.
- Select Control Panel option.
- Double-Click the Regional and Language Options icon.
- Click on the Languages tab.
- Click the Details button.
- Click the Language Bar button.
- Remove the checkmark from the Show Language Bar option.
- Click OK.
- That's it your done enjoy.
